Welcome to Boat Steering Australia Marine Hydraulic Steering the trusted retailer of hydraulic steering systems
Our extensive range includes outboard applications for boats up to 350Hp, as well as inboard/stern-drive applications for boats up to (52ft).
Additionally, we provide hydraulic steering systems tailored specifically for sailboats, and catamarans. The foundation of our BSA steering kits lie in the helm pump, which is meticulously crafted from a single block of hardened and hot-pressed aluminium. With a sturdy ¼’’ thickness and a specially selected material, our pumps guarantee a leak-free operation and prevents the formation of oil film or fog, even under extreme working pressures. To ensure precision and smooth functionality, the pump features three ball bearings. Furthermore, each pump and cylinder undergoes anodization, providing resistance to the corrosive effects of the sea. Our cylinders are also constructed from cold-drawn, hardened aluminium, boasting remarkable tensile strength surpassing traditional bronze materials. The robust, thick-walled design enables our cylinders to withstand high working pressures effortlessly.
At Boat Steering Australia we embrace technology as the cornerstone of our engineering process. By integrating advanced aviation-inspired techniques, we deliver hydraulic steering systems of unmatched quality, reliability, and longevity.
